Grocery Retailers with Highest Customer Loyalty Revealed
Walmart, H-E-B, and Meijer were named the three grocery retail chains with the highest consumer loyalty in 2021, according to consumer intelligence and marketing specialist InMarket.

Grocers Need to Improve Their Sustainability Efforts
Retail Insight conducted a survey and identified that 77% of the surveyed consumers have tried to be more sustainable in their consumption habits in the last 12 months. 67% of participants believe retailers have more work to do to increase their sustainability efforts.

Technology Adoption in the Grocery Retail Industry
According to the 2022 Connected Retail Experience Study by Incisiv, the use of mobile devices by consumers is driving technology adoption for grocers. 93% of retailers anticipate an increase in consumer mobile device use in stores by 2025, and 83% of retailers expect to deploy more technology in stores.
FMI Appoints New Food Safety VP
The Food Industry Association (FMI) named Carey Allen as leader of the business development arm of its food safety certification program, SQF. She will work to build SQF program awareness and focus on its expansion to further bolster consumer and retailer food safety expectations.
